1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to everyone who uses this App ("OB-GYN Pharmacology"), available at ob-gyn-pharma.com and its associated domains. The App does not require you to create an account or log in to use it.
2. What data we collect
Anonymous usage analytics: when you use the App, anonymised events (such as which pages are visited and how long you use the App) are recorded via PostHog, a third-party analytics service, hosted in the EU. This does not include your name, email, or any content you type into quizzes or forms — only anonymous usage patterns. If you have "Do Not Track" enabled in your browser, this is respected and no analytics data is collected. Form submissions: if you use the "Report an Error" or internal review-flag features, the information you type (your description, and your name/email if you choose to provide them) is sent via Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, to the App's operator.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect passwords (there are no accounts), payment or financial information (the App has no payment system), or precise location data. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
4. Why we collect this data
Analytics data helps us understand which content is useful and where to focus future development — for example, which chapters or quiz topics need improvement. Form submission data (error reports, review flags) is used solely to identify and correct issues with the App's content.
5. Third-party services we use
PostHog (analytics) — EU-hosted; see posthog.com/privacy for their own policy. Formspree (form processing) — see formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy for their own policy. We do not control these third parties' own data practices beyond what we send them, and encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns.
6. Cookies and local storage
The App's analytics tool may use your browser's local storage to recognise repeat visits during normal use (for example, to avoid double-counting a single visit as multiple sessions). This is not used to build an advertising profile or shared with third parties for marketing.
7. Data retention
Analytics data is retained by PostHog per their standard retention settings. Form submissions (error reports, review flags) are retained in the operator's email inbox indefinitely unless deleted, since they may be referenced when making future content corrections.
8. Your rights
You can request details of any data associated with a form submission you made, or request its deletion, by emailing contact@ob-gyn-pharma.com. Since the App does not use accounts or persistent user identifiers tied to your identity, we cannot look up analytics data by individual person — it is collected anonymously by design.
9. Children's privacy
This App is intended for medical students, midwives, nurses, and clinicians, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. International users
This App is used internationally. By using the App, you understand your data (limited to what's described above) may be processed in countries other than your own, including within the EU (via PostHog's hosting) and wherever Formspree's infrastructure is located.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the App's features change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date below.
